The SINGING ROCK via ferrata set is equipped with automatic snap hooks. The one-hand carabiners of type "K" for via ferrata have an ergonomic shape. The high-quality carabiners can be easily and quickly attached and detached. The energy absorber of the via ferrata set is quite small and performs excellently. The "tearing" webbing absorbs the fall energy as much as possible. The tests, which are carried out again and again, show fall forces of less than 5.3 kN impact force. Compared to a dynamic climbing rope, the impact force is relatively low. The shock absorber is attached to the harness with an "anchor stitch" knot. ' The loop is twisted once in itself to be able to lay this knot perfectly. This is quick and easy, safe and preserves freedom of movement. The two tentacles are sewn into a central loop and are independent of each other. This leads to an increase in safety, since each arm grips the energy absorber individually in the event of a fall.

The loop can also be used to attach the carabiner, e.g. B. when covering larger structures or as a rest loop, i.e. if you want to sit down in the via ferrata set to rest or take pictures. The via ferrata set will not release if the pulling force is less than approx. 120 kg. Resting with your own body weight is therefore possible. Even when walking in non-dangerous terrain, you can simply hang the carabiners in this sling without having to dismantle the via ferrata set in order to create an overview and order on the harness.
