In the event of a fall of the climber, the belayer must hold the braking side of the rope. With the sophisticated technology of the KINETIC, the fall is held and the braking effect is fully developed. The KINETIC is a device made of 100% metal. This stands for a solid construction and for a long service life.
No plastic and sustainability were two important points on the "to do" list of our product developers. The profiles of the KINETIC acting on the rope are specially shaped in such a way that there is a high braking effect but low wear of the rope used. Since we at EDELWEISS have very, very long experience in rope production, we also know what is bad for a rope. It is precisely these bad qualities that we avoided when developing the KINETIC.
